Sriracha Peanuts

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup sriracha
- 1 Tablespoon potato starch
- 1 TBS sugar
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 cups ( 8 oz.) peanuts, roasted unsalted
Method
- combine all ingredients except peanuts in small saucepan over medium heat to dissolve starch and sugar.
- remove from heat and toss peanuts to coat.
- arrange in a single layer on a silicon lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
- Immediately remove from pan and toss in a large heat-proof bowl to break up nuts as they cool.
Notes
These appeared to bake unevenly and coating did not adhere evenly either. Texture on cooling is inconsistently gummy as well. This recipe needs more work/research. Inspired by: original recipe link
