Carob Crispy Rice Treats

Making these crisp rice treats with carob is totally optional, but it has become a tradition that whenever we make Carob Syrup, we use this recipe to “clean” the pan afterwards.

Method

  1. Melt marshmallows and butter in your carob coated pan over low heat, stirring frequently
  2. Once thoroughly melted add cereal to pot and stir into mixture until evenly coated, avoiding crushing the cereal
  3. Scrape gooey cereal mixture into a greased pan (13×9 if you want them thin, 8×8 if you want them thick) and press lightly into shape
